Project Definition
RMT helps project proponents to fully define projects using our project definition checklist. This process streamlines the CEQA/NEPA and permitting review processes. RMT then develops comprehensive plans to address the environmental, construction and financial issues for each project.
Project and Environmental Feasibility Studies
Environmental feasibility studies are prepared to identify constraints (including "fatal flaws") and major cost items in permitting proposed development projects. Related services include baseline resource surveys, detailed cost estimates, and permitting schedules and strategies.
Project Siting Studies
Preliminary studies are conducted for screening large areas for facility siting. RMT performs preliminary and detailed site assessments, which include constraint assessments as well as alternative site rankings and ratings.
Project Design Review
RMT works with project proponents and regulatory review agencies to ensure that environmental requirements and constraints are addressed in the early stages of engineering design and economic analysis. Project descriptions and environmental components of operation plans are prepared for submittal to regulatory agencies.
Public Involvement
RMT develops and implements comprehensive public involvement programs tailored to the needs of individual projects. Public involvement services for public involvement programs include:
