Each member of RMT's management team has unique expertise, but they all share a passion for delivering on RMT's commitment to create reliable renewable energy for our clients. Their leadership forms the foundation for our business.
David Kutcher, President
A strong leader, team player, and natural dealmaker, Dave brings a unique ability to balance RMT's commitment to clients with the risk management and business discipline needed to be profitable. He has the diverse skills to help RMT build lasting partnerships with our clients, greatly increase our corporate-level deal structuring ability, create sustainable projects and revenue, and maintain a strong market position.
Dave joined RMT as Vice President and General Counsel in May 2009, and most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer. Over the past few years, his project management, strategic thinking, and communication skills have helped shape RMT's values, business processes, and continued commitment to technical and client service excellence. His leadership and vision have set new standards for success and have brought RMT to a heightened position in the marketplace. He is actively engaged in RMT’s day-to-day operations and assisting our project teams in delivering consistent and quality projects—on time, on budget, and without injury to people or damage to property.
Dave earned his Bachelor's Degree from Western Illinois University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Frank Greb, Executive Vice President and General Manager
Frank has been managing energy–related projects and businesses for over 20 years at RMT and its parent company, Alliant Energy. He has extensive experience in the design, engineering, and construction of renewable energy facilities, and has led the growth of RMT's renewable energy EPC business, developing over $800–million of business since its inception.
Under Frank's leadership, RMT has designed and constructed some of the largest wind and solar energy facilities across the United States. He has assembled a team of experienced engineering, construction, and quality professionals, who routinely solve complex electrical interconnection and challenging civil and logistical problems for major renewable energy investors across the country. Frank is currently focused on growing RMT’s engineering and site development practice to meet the demands of the wind and solar markets. His knowledge of construction operations is invaluable in leading our engineering and business development efforts.
Frank has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration, both from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Dan Hendley, Vice President of Wind Energy Construction
Dan has a proven track record of bringing even the most challenging of projects to successful completion to meet clients' needs. As Vice President of Wind Energy Construction, he is responsible for managing all aspects of our wind projects. Specifically, Dan manages RMT Senior Project Managers and onsite Project Managers to ensure that our wind projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. In addition, he is directly involved in business development and estimating efforts relating to our wind projects.
Dan has over 10 years of experience managing large renewable energy construction projects. In addition to his strong project management skills, he has specific expertise with ridgeline construction, union labor management, project controls, and health and safety management. His strong communication skills, excellent safety record, and established troubleshooting techniques allow him to consistently deliver first-rate projects to clients.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
Kenneth Knecht, Vice President of Construction Operations
Kenny is an accomplished team builder and leader with a strong background in the successful startup, construction, and closeout of a diverse range of construction projects. He has over 15 years of experience working on profitable and high-profile heavy industrial and civil construction projects, with extensive experience in negotiating contracts, ensuring clarity of work scope, and minimizing liability and risk exposure.
As Vice President of Construction Operations, Kenny is charged with working with RMT field staff and corporate support functions to improve our processes and drive efficiency into our construction practices. He leads our Project Manager Training Program and is responsible for implementing our construction policies to ensure that projects operate efficiently and safely.
Kenny has his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Orleans.
